Imogen Rowe

 Imogen is a a full-time postgraduate soprano training at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama with tuition from Anne Mason, she also now performs with the BBC National Chorus of Wales.

 

For her undergraduate degree she studied vocal lessons at the Royal Academy of Music whilst undertaking her academic degree in Music at the the University of Cambridge via the CAMRAM scheme. She has been fortunate to previously study under Kathleen Ferrier award winning singer Janice Watson and Mary Nelson.

Her recent solo operatic experience includes the role of Veronique (David Seligman Opera School, RWCMD, 'Le Docteur Miracle', Bizet), Adina (Fitzwilliam Chamber Opera, ‘L’Elisir d’Amour’), Queen of the Night (Cambridge University Opera Society’s ‘Die  Zauberflote’), Dorabella (Fitzwilliam Chamber Opera’s, Cosi fan tutte, Mozart), Dido (Dido and Aeneas, Purcell).

 

 Chorus work includes Soprano 2 in Verdi's Requiem with BBC NOW (BBC Proms 2024), Soprano Chorus WNO Opera Gala (2023 & 2024) and Respighi's 'La bella dormente nel bosco' under the baton of Carlo Rizzi. Previous credits include being awarded the Elizabeth Sparks Singing Cup, holding a choral scholarship at Fitzwilliam College Cambridge.
